Carl King

Carl King is currently an advisor at HSBlox. Carl has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, holding various positions at different companies.

Carl started their career in the industry as the administrator of Crawford Memorial Hospital, before moving on to become the Chief Operating Officer of CarleCare. In 1990, they became the CEO of Health Alliance Medical Plans, and held that position for five years.

In 1995, they left Health Alliance to become the Executive Director of Prudential Healthcare. Carl held that position for four years before moving on to Aetna in 1999. At Aetna, they led the provider network strategy and implementation planning for the Humana acquisition. Carl remained at Aetna until 2017 before taking their current position at HSBlox.

Carl King pursued a Master of Health Administration from Duke University with a focus on multi-hospital systems and managed care. Carl also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business in the field of health/health care administration/management.
