Ivo Dontje

Ivo Dontje is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at HSM Offshore Energy BV since October 2024. Prior to this role, Ivo held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Boskalis from October 2018 to September 2024, having previously worked as Legal Counsel at Vroon and MPI Offshore in 2017. Ivo's career at Boskalis began in April 2008, where a significant role as Senior Legal Counsel followed the acquisition of Dockwise, integrating it into the Offshore Energy division. Additional experience includes leadership roles in contract management at Bosch Rexroth and various legal positions in Hamilton, Bermuda. Ivo holds a Postgraduate diploma in Maritime Law from London Metropolitan University and an LL.M in Trade and Economic Law, along with an MSc in Business Administration from Radboud University. Continuous professional development is evident through recent training in Energy Law at the University of Groningen.
