Aley Kent

Aley Kent is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in food security and agriculture, currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor at the International Rescue Committee since July 2014. Kent has a strong background in providing technical support for program development, implementation, and evaluation while fostering community-driven initiatives. In addition, Kent works as a Training and Development Consultant with the Huairou Commission, focusing on empowering grassroots women leaders globally. Previous roles include Independent Consultant for various organizations and Program Manager at Heifer International, where strategic program development and relationship cultivation were key responsibilities. Aley Kent holds a BA in Sustainable Agriculture and Sociology from Cornell University and has contributed to numerous organizations and projects throughout a robust career in the field.
