Shidong Ren

Shidong Ren is a highly experienced technology professional with a focus on software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Chief Architect at 华为 since July 2016, Shidong specializes in performance optimization for EMUI, Huawei's Android-based operating system. Prior to this role, Shidong was a Software Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation from December 2010 to July 2016 and served as a software manager at Shanghai E28 Ltd. from April 2004 to December 2010, where the focus was on developing Android mobile devices. Early career experience includes positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Cosmobic and as a Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent. Shidong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, completed in 2001.
