Dr. Claudia Igbrude has worked in the technology sector in Ireland for nearly 20 years across SMEs, higher education, large multinationals and as an entrepreneur. She has conducted research and partnered with various stakeholders, organizational leaders to leverage technology for transforming how learners acquire knowledge and skills.
Claudia is currently the Learning Technology Business Partner at PayPal overseeing the technology infrastructure and learning platforms enabling learning and talent development of operations teammates globally and across multiple regions. She leads and works on diversity and inclusion initiatives including ERGs in EMEA such as Amplify (Black Employees), Believe (Interfaith) and is a champion for Justice by Design and Inclusive AI.
She is also the Education lead for Women in AI Ireland and a co-founder of ScorMorApp.
Previously, Claudia was part of the Learning Teaching Technology Center of the Technological University Dublin (TUD) and worked alongside non-academic and academic staff to create the technology ecosystem for learning and teaching in the university. She also taught on postgraduate modules in TUD and the National College of Ireland (NCIRL). She was an entrepreneur in natural skincare, health-tech, and games for learning.
Building on a BSc(Hons) in Industrial Mathematics, Claudia earned postgraduate qualifications- MSc in Learning Technologies, Certificate in Intellectual Property & Media Law, PhD in Computer Science, and PG Diploma in Product Management.
