Pablo Montalvo

Pablo Montalvo is a Machine Learning Engineer at Hugging Face since June 2023, previously serving as Lead Data Scientist and Research Scientist at Rakuten France from June 2018 to May 2023. Before that, Pablo was a Visiting Research Scientist at Rakuten, focusing on defenses against vulnerabilities in deep learning algorithms. Pablo's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position at Tainan Hydraulics Laboratory, specializing in numerical modeling of extreme wave events, and a PhD in Physics from the University of Montpellier, where research centered on wind-wave generation mechanisms.
