Jessie Scheepers

Jessie Scheepers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in people operations and leadership within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Belonging & Impact Lead at Pleo since August 2018, Jessie is focused on fostering inclusivity and measuring impact while leading innovative projects. Formerly, Jessie held the position of Head of People at Pleo, significantly scaling the team from 40 to 550 members. Additional roles include angel investor at Humaans, Guest Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School, Head of Operations at Tonsser, and early-stage launcher at Wolt. Jessie began a career in tech at Meltwater, progressing rapidly through various sales roles. Notably, Jessie founded a tech-led art and T-shirt company, Hide and Sheep, during university studies, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Law and Media Studies from the University of Cape Town.
