Richard Leuverink

Richard Leuverink is an experienced marine professional with a strong background in project management and inspection within the maritime industry. Currently serving as an Inspecteur zeevaart - Port State Control at Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport since January 2025, Richard previously held roles including Vessel Development Supervisor at Windcat Workboats and Project Manager at Thales. Richard's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as Sr. Marine Surveyor and ISM ISPS Auditor at Bureau Veritas, and project management positions at Oceanco and Damen Shipyards. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture from HTS Haarlem between 1995 and 2000.
