Peter Schmidt

Peter currently works as a Vice President Commercial Lender at First Security Bank of Bozeman. Graduating from MSU with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, Peter has been at First Security Bank since 2003.

Peter is inspired to serve on the Board at HRDC because we confront the toughest issues facing our communities, and Peter wants to be part of the solution to these issues. In addition to his role at HRDC, Peter serves on the Board (and coaches) for the Belgrade Wrestling Club, which is a nonprofit, elementary program for kids fifth grade and younger.

When he’s not working, Peter enjoys whitewater rafting and kayaking in the local area, as well as anything outdoors. He enjoys coaching and being involved with his kids’ activities. Pete is happily married to his wife, Karlina, and they have four boys between middle school and high school.
