Jessica Turnwald James

Jessica Turnwald James is an experienced nonprofit development professional currently serving as the Director of Development at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region since August 2022. Previously, Jessica held various leadership roles at The Colorado Springs School from October 2007 to August 2022, including Director of Development and Alumni Relations, where responsibilities included cultivating donor relationships and managing fundraising initiatives. Prior experience also includes serving as the Capital Campaign Director at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and as Fellowship Coordinator at the United States Golf Association, focusing on grant management and leadership development programs. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Marketing from Miami University in 1999 and has a history of dedication to philanthropic efforts in education and the arts.
