Akihito Moriya

Akihito Moriya has extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles across various industries. Currently serving as President and Managing Director for North & Southeast Asia at Hunter Douglas, Inc., Akihito oversees the window covering products businesses in Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. In addition, Akihito is an Independent Outside Director at Gunosy, Inc., a public news aggregation company. Previously, Akihito held multiple senior positions at Dyson, leading strategic planning and transformation efforts, and was responsible for P&L management in Southeast Asia. Akihito's prior experience includes key leadership roles at DeNA, Kearney, and Sony, alongside founding a student organization focused on online education. Akihito's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions including The Wharton School and INSEAD, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree from Keio University in Business and Commerce.
