Dylan Lafrenz

Dylan Lafrenz is an accomplished software development engineer in test (SDET) with extensive experience in quality assurance and automation across various organizations, including Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Kashable, Asurion, and Syntel. Currently serving as a Lead SDET at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Dylan is responsible for running critical ceremonies for SDETs, optimizing testing processes, and integrating backend tests into Gitlab pipelines. Previously, as a Lead QA Engineer at Kashable, Dylan architected mobile application regression suites and linked them to CI/CD pipelines. Dylan's background includes transitioning from a QA role to a developer as an Alpha Developer at Asurion, where significant achievements included launching a new platform and improving testing frameworks. Dylan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Northern Arizona University.
