Sean Stenson

Sean Stenson currently serves as the Manager of Technical Services and Chief Mine Engineer at Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation since February 2021. Previously, Sean held the position of Senior Mine Engineer at Oceana Gold, where notable achievements included the establishment of ore control and short-range planning departments for a new mine. Sean's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Mine Engineer at Romarco Minerals Inc., Mine Planning Engineer II at Barrick Gold Corporation, and Ore Control Engineer at both Barrick Gold Corporation and Rio Tinto. Throughout these positions, Sean has effectively collaborated across multiple departments to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards, utilizing advanced software for mine planning and ore management. Sean obtained a degree in Geological Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2007.
