Allison Peters Quinn is an experienced curator and educator, currently serving as the Curator and Director of Exhibitions & Residency Programs at Hyde Park Art Center since February 2004. In March 2018, Allison participated in an International Curator Residency at Fire Station Artists’ Studio, focusing on civically-oriented art projects that highlight the intersections of public space and human agency. Previously, Allison taught at The University of Chicago Graham School, creating a curriculum for adult education in research-based exhibitions with Contemporary Art, and served as adjunct faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, instructing graduate-level courses in Curatorial Practice. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Contemporary Art from Bard College's Center for Curatorial Studies and Bachelor's degrees in Art History and English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
