Pete Staples

Pete Staples is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and product design. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at HyKit since December 2024, Pete previously held various key positions, including Team Leader & Senior Engineer at Reaction Engines, where strategic planning and interdepartmental collaboration resulted in the development of "off-the-shelf" products aimed at increasing market share. Pete's background includes a role as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Solid State Logic, where expertise in product development and supplier relationships was demonstrated. Additional experience includes managing projects at Glass Frog Ltd and contributing to high-profile developments at companies such as Williams Advanced Engineering and Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. Pete holds a BSc Hons in Product Design from Bournemouth University.
