Henry Akona

Henry Akona is a seasoned professional in the performing arts with a diverse background in directing, composing, and artistic direction. Currently serving as Vice President at I Squared Capital since May 2014, Akona also holds the position of Associate Artistic Director at Untitled Theater Company No. 61 since 2006. Notable recent projects include directing and arranging the English-language premiere of Václav Havel's The Pig or Václav Havel's Hunt for a Pig, as well as composing for productions such as Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and The Velvet Oratorio. Akona's extensive experience encompasses roles across various theater companies, including sound design, assistant directing, and composing for plays, demonstrating a strong commitment to the arts and innovative storytelling. Akona's educational background includes a degree from Clark University and a high school diploma from Mid-Pacific Institute.
