Rick Schuiteman

Rick Schuiteman currently serves as the Executive Director of Fort Wayne Children's Zoo since September 2020 and is a member of the IAAPA Zoo and Aquarium Committee since December 2022. Additionally, Rick is on the Board of Directors for Visit Fort Wayne and has held guest lecturer positions at Purdue University Fort Wayne and Taylor University in 2024. Prior experience includes a Corporate Senior Director role at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment from November 2018 to October 2020, and diverse positions at SeaWorld San Diego from 1986 to 2018, culminating as Vice President responsible for creative development and operations within the Entertainment Department. Rick has also contributed as a stage and production manager with La Jolla Stage Company and possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from San Diego State University.
