Owen Laferty

Owen Laverty is an experienced professional with a robust background in enterprise development, economics, and product design. Currently on sabbatical, Owen serves as the Head of Enterprise and Economics for Dunlaoghaire Rathdown County Council since November 2017. Prior roles include Director of MaynoothWorks at Maynooth University, where responsibilities encompassed managing an incubator and providing executive coaching, and various engineering and management positions in product design at companies such as Axis Design Ltd and Philips Electronics. Owen holds multiple degrees, including a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin and an M.Sc. in Bio Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, along with numerous certifications in business coaching and online marketing strategy.
