Jess Border

Jessica Border currently serves as the Associate State Declarations Portal Officer in the Department of Safeguards at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), focusing on supporting Member States in utilizing the State Declarations Portal for electronic submissions of state-declared information. Prior to joining IAEA in May 2023, Jessica held multiple roles at the British Embassy in Washington, including Chief Communications Officer for Education Engagement, where strategic plans for promoting UK education were developed, and Visits Officer, responsible for logistics of high-profile visits. Additional experience includes serving as an Election Officer for Arlington County, a Program Assistant at the U.S. Department of State, and a Staff Assistant at a law firm. Jessica holds a Master’s degree in International Peace and Security Studies from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
