Charene Walker

Charene Walker is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including aviation, construction, and real estate. Charene currently serves as a Company Accountant at International Airlines Group (IAG) since September 2023, and previously held positions such as Group Financial Controller at EXR International and Interim Group Financial Accountant at Capital & Counties Properties PLC. Charene's career also includes significant roles at EXR Construction (Pty) Ltd as Finance Manager and Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management as a Financial & Regulatory Accountant, alongside early experience as an Audit Supervisor at Baker Tilly Morrison Murray. Charene is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and holds both a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
