Gisele Uwase

Gisele Uwase is a geology technician at IAMGOLD Corporation since May 2023, bringing a diverse background in safety and customer service. Previous roles include confined space rescue attendant and screening officer at NATT Safety Services from March 2020 to July 2023, as well as a geology summer student at IAMGOLD Corporation in 2022. Gisele's experience also encompasses customer service as a cashier at Starbucks from 2018 to March 2020, and military training as an infantry reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces between 2019 and 2020. Gisele's foundational experience in leadership and discipline was developed as an air cadet from 2015 to 2018. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Technology/Technician at Cambrian College, Gisele demonstrates a strong academic background with high school diplomas from Lockerby Composite School and Marymount Academy.
