Geert van Kemenade

Geert Van Kemenade is an experienced engineer currently serving as an R&D Engineer at IBA Dosimetry since December 2024. Prior to this role, Geert worked as a Design Engineer at Aerospacelab from February 2022 to June 2024 and as a Test Engineer at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics from April 2021 to February 2022. Previous experience includes a position as a Junior Design Engineer at ASCO from July 2017 to March 2021 and as a PhD researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from November 2015 to June 2017, focused on vortex-induced vibrations and flow control. Geert also gained experience as an intern at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in early 2015, contributing to the design of a support for dynamic stability studies in the transonic regime. Geert holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, completed in 2015.
