Richard Buczynski

Richard Buczynski currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at IBISWorld, a position held since November 2002, where oversight of the commercial banking and risk rating practice is provided. Prior to this role, Buczynski accumulated over 20 years of experience at WEFA, collaborating with Nobel Laureate in Economics Professor Lawrence Klein and holding various senior research and executive positions, including leading sales and marketing for both North America and the Asia/Pacific region. Buczynski's educational background includes a BA, MA, and Ph.D. in Economics/Statistics from the University at Buffalo, completed between 1972 and 1982.
