Pieter Laan

Pieter Laan is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of External Manager Selection at IBS Capital Allies since April 2017, where responsibilities include selecting external fund managers and managing client relationships. Prior to this role, Pieter held multiple positions at Kempen & Co from April 2002 to March 2017, including Senior Portfolio Manager Client Solutions and Senior Portfolio Manager Vermogensbeheer, focusing on portfolio construction and investment communication for institutional and private clients. Pieter also worked as a Portfolio Manager Multi-Management, overseeing manager selection and due diligence, and began a career in finance at Bank Labouchere and ING Bank. Pieter holds educational qualifications from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and has completed CFA Level 1 and 2 at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
