Alex Vales

Alex Vales is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the MCC Manager at Albastar Airlines since February 2023, leading a team of Aircraft Engineers to manage the technical status of a Boeing 737-800 fleet. Previously, Alex worked as a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer at Iberojet, overseeing the airworthiness of several Airbus and Boeing models, and as an Airworthiness Engineer at AVISLAND, where management of a large team ensured compliance with maintenance records for the Vueling fleet. Earlier roles included contributions to maintenance reliability at Vueling, coordination of operations at Volotea's Operations Control Center, and flight coordination at Swissport. Alex holds a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and is currently pursuing additional qualifications, including an MBA and courses in Digital Transformation and Project Management.
