Ambika Khadka

Senior Hydrologist at ICEYE

Ambika Khadka is an experienced hydrologist specializing in flood modeling and water resource management. Currently serving as a Flood Modelling Hydrologist at ICEYE since August 2021, Ambika also holds the position of Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University since May 2017. Previous roles include Research Officer at the International Water Management Institute from June 2014 to May 2017, where Ambika focused on hydrology and water resources, and Research Assistant at Ucross High Plains Stewardship Initiative, where efforts concentrated on hydrologic modeling for a large ranch in Wyoming. Ambika's early career includes roles as a Summer Intern at the Hixon Center for Urban Ecology, Research Assistant at Yale University, Environmentalist at Hydro-Solutions Private Limited in Nepal, Young Researcher at IUCN Nepal, and Research Grantee at WWF Nepal. Ambika holds a Master of Environmental Science from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University.
