Rukes Ahmed

Rukes Ahmed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Executive and Commercial Lead for Energy Transition in the ICIS Business Solutions Group since August 2022. Rukes has previously held key positions including Advisor at Climate Connect Digital, ESG Manager at HSBC, and Chief Revenue Officer at Enmacc, where responsibilities included market entry strategy development and sales team leadership. Rukes has also served as Global Head of Power, Gas, Coal, and Carbon at Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters, along with a background as a Senior Energy Trader at Gazprom Marketing & Trading and various roles at Shell. Rukes holds an MSc in International Money, Finance, and Investment, and a BSc in Economics from Brunel University London, along with completing a leadership program at London Business School in 2019.
