James Wassil

James Wassil is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in the vaccine industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Vaxcyte, Wassil oversees daily operations and clinical development for a 24-valent pneumococcal vaccine, contributing to the company's successful public offering. Previously, Wassil held leadership roles at Pfizer as Vice President and Business Unit Head for Vaccines, and Novartis Vaccines as Vice President and Global Head of Meningococcal Vaccines, where Wassil directed significant vaccination initiatives and contributed to major product launches.
