Moshe Benbassat

Moshe BenBassat is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, and Mathematical Optimization. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at IDC Herzliya since April 2016, Moshe has made significant original scientific contributions in these fields. Prior to this academic role, Moshe founded ClickSoftware in 1997, where as Chairman and CEO, Moshe developed innovative technology in service chain optimization, leading the company to become a publicly traded entity on NASDAQ by 2000. Moshe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, earned between 1967 and 1975.
