Thomas Wucherpfennig

Thomas Wucherpfennig is a Design Lead at IDEO, having advanced through the ranks from Designer to Senior Designer since July 2019. Previously, Thomas served as a Course Assistant for Stanford University's Design Program, assisting with courses on Human Values in Design and The History and Philosophy of Design in 2018. Thomas also gained experience as a User Experience Designer at Google and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Artemis Racing, where responsibilities included the development of CAD models for racing yachts. Additionally, Thomas held mechanical engineering positions at Tesla Motors, contributing to the design and testing of various components for the Model X and Model S. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Design Impact from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
