Darren Kyi

Darren Kyi is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in managing large-scale field data acquisition projects in remote areas of Australia, currently serving as Technical and Logistics Manager at Geoscience Australia since September 2017. Responsibilities include overseeing geophysical and operational services for mission-critical activities, as well as engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with work requirements and partner needs. Prior roles include Geophysicist, where expertise in magnetotellurics and survey planning was demonstrated, and experience as a crew leader with Quantec Geoscience Ltd. Additionally, Darren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from Macquarie University, obtained in 2009.
