Miriam Trujillo is an Electrical Engineering student at Columbia University, currently serving as an Undergraduate Representative for IEEE, where responsibilities include coordinating events and workshops to enhance education in the field. In addition to academic pursuits, Miriam is an Apprentice with the SubOptic Foundation, gaining mentorship under industry professional Julian Rawle in subsea cable and telecommunications. As Director of Expansion for the Youth Economics Initiative, Miriam works on expanding financial literacy education in the Florida region. Additionally, research efforts at Doral College involve examining the effects of an antioxidant C60 on the longevity of mice. Previous experience includes a brief role as a Barista at Starbucks. Miriam Trujillo graduated from Doral Academy Charter High School with a diploma in General Studies in June 2023.
