Valerie Mpasinas

Valerie Mpasinas has extensive experience in finance, management control, and risk governance, currently serving as an Assistant Teacher at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management since January 2008 and as a Teacher at IÉSEG School of Management since September 2020. Valerie holds various board positions, including Non-Executive Board Member at CPAS de Forest and the Université libre de Bruxelles, and has been actively involved with Solvay Schools Alumni since May 2016 as a Non-Executive Board Member and Event Coordinator, where Valerie founded the Solvay Alumni Women Club. Previous roles include Head of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management at D'Ieteren SA and Internal Audit Manager at ING Belgium, with a robust foundation in auditing gained from work at Deloitte. Valerie's educational background includes degrees from Solvay Brussels School, HEC Montréal, and Vlerick Business School, along with certifications in Prince 2 and diving.
