David Tarendash

David Tarendash is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and cloud infrastructure, primarily in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior SRE at IEX since June 2022, David has held various leadership roles, including Head of Systems Engineering at IEX Astral and Head of DevOps at MayStreet and Thesys Technologies. David's expertise encompasses deploying and supporting platform software, AWS administration, automation of deployment and upgrades, and security operations. With a strong background in software engineering from positions at Tradeworx/Thesys and GS, David is proficient in technologies such as C++, Linux, Perl, Python, and Java. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
