Akua Foriwaa Kwarteng is an experienced professional in agronomy and crop science, currently serving as an Agronomy and Crop Science Assistant at the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) since September 2021, where roles have included Post Harvest Specialist and Post Harvest Technology Intern. Prior experience includes working as a Nursery Casual at the Seed Production Division of COCOBOD and as service personnel at the Ghana Cocoa Board - Seed Production Division. Akua has also completed internships at the UEW-Kumasi campus Graduate School, the CSIR - Food Research Institute focusing on food processing and packaging, and the CSIR - Crop Research Institute, where the focus was on rice field research and yield analysis. Akua holds a B.Sc in Post Harvest Technology, Processing, Packaging, and Storage of Farm Products from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, completed in 2019.
