David Deng Chol Aruei

David Deng Chol Aruei is an experienced professional in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within development projects, currently serving as the MELS Manager at the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) since July 2021. In this role, David leads the design and implementation of MEAL systems for a significant project aimed at enhancing the agricultural sector in South Sudan. Previously, David held positions at Plan International as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, where contributions included project performance oversight, and served as the Lead Research Consultant at Mugwo Development Organization. Additional experience includes roles at Terre des hommes Albania & Kosovo focusing on cash for work initiatives, enumerator duties at Small Arms Survey, and an intern position at the National Bureau of Statistics. David holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistical Management from Uganda Christian University and an Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from St. Joseph's College, Ombaci.
