Fanny Ardhuin is the Head of the Ifremer Laboratory for Ocean Physics and Satellite Remote Sensing and Head of the Satellites and Air-Sea Interactions (SIAM) laboratory, with over 17 years of experience at Ifremer since October 2006. Contributions include sea ice monitoring, ice drift estimation, and synergy of data for ocean parameter estimation. Fanny also has experience as a Research Scientist specializing in ocean satellite remote sensing, and has held positions at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, CNES, BOOST Technologies, and IMT Atlantique. Notable research includes work on the EU DAMOCLES project and ESA PolarView program. Fanny holds advanced degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Meteorology, and is a certified rescuer through Croix Rouge.
