Jonathan Allen

Jonathan Allen is a Tier 2 NOC Analyst at iGLASS Networks. Jonathan has over fifteen years of experience in the IT field, with a specialty in network administration and support.

Jonathan began their career as a Helpdesk Technician Level II at Perimeter E-Security in September 2005. In this role, they provided technical support to users with differing levels of IT knowledge and competence. Jonathan also analyzed, diagnosed, troubleshot, and resolved network problems, and opened and tracked trouble reports. In September 2007, they left Perimeter E-Security to join iGLASS Networks as a Tier 2 NOC Analyst.

In their current role at iGLASS Networks, Jonathan is responsible for monitoring the health of devices using SMNP and Nagios, and backing up and restoring hard drive images using Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image. Jonathan also keeps an accurate inventory of over 200 laptops and desktops for a Corporate refresh project.

Jonathan Allen is currently studying computer and networking security at ECPI. After completing their degree, they plan to work in the field of computer and networking security.
