Dr. Lukas Pavilanskas

Dr. Lukas Pavilanskas serves as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Ignitis Group since February 2017, focusing on IT/OT infrastructure management and strategic development to ensure value streams at the corporate level. Concurrently, Dr. Pavilanskas has been a part-time professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University since August 2003, engaging in scientific work and lectures on ICT infrastructure architectures. Prior roles include Director of IT Service Operation at Technologijų ir inovacijų centras, where responsibilities spanned IT service operations and infrastructure development, and Senior Engineer at Rytų skirstomieji tinklai AB, focusing on network architecture and security. Early career experiences include roles at Lema, Ltd, centered on UNIX/Linux server systems, and as an HP-UX Engineer, emphasizing installation and maintenance of server systems. Dr. Pavilanskas holds a doctoral degree in Telecommunications from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, completed in 2007.
