Amit Maurya is a PhD Scholar and Junior Research Fellow at IISER Bhopal since February 2023. Prior experience includes participation in a workshop on R-Programming at Banaras Hindu University organized by EcoDoor - Economics Society in December 2021, as well as attending the international virtual conference RAMPPI-2021 hosted by the National Institute of Technology Durgapur in September 2021. Amit also completed a week-long training on GIS and Remote Sensing applications at the Punjab Remote Sensing Centre organized by the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy in August 2021. Amit holds an M.Sc. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from Banaras Hindu University (January 2020 - June 2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology from the Institute of Science - Banaras Hindu University (July 2017 - July 2020). Education includes intermediate and high school studies at Central Hindu Boys School.
