Qasim Butt

Dr. Qasim Butt is a nephrologist and artificial intelligence expert who has dedicated their career to improving patient care through innovative technology solutions. Qasim is currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at IKONA, and previously served as Medical Director of the Dialysis Unit at Methodist Healthcare System, Chairman of Internal Medicine/Family Medicine at Methodist Healthcare System, and Vice Chair of Internal Medicine/Family Medicine at Methodist Healthcare System. Qasim also has experience as a renal care physician with U.S. Renal Care and South Texas Renal Care Group. In addition to their clinical work, Dr. Butt has also been involved in developing artificial intelligence solutions for DeLorean Artificial Intelligence, Alamo Angels, Alio, Doctorpedia, and IKONA Health. Qasim's work in this area has led to him being recognized as an expert in the field, and they have been featured in numerous publications and presentations on the topic.

Qasim Butt has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Baylor University, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from St. George's University, and certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. Qasim completed an executive education program on artificial intelligence in health care at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Qasim also completed an internal medicine residency program and a nephrology fellowship at LSU Shreveport.
