Axel Dumont

Axel Dumont is an experienced transportation modeling project manager at Île-de-France Mobilités, where responsibilities include implementing and updating a detailed traffic forecasting model for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, conducting various analyses, and presenting results to inform transportation offers and traveler information campaigns. Since September 2022, Axel has led a team dedicated to the Olympic model, providing oversight for interns and study managers, and supervising operations support during the Games. Axel's prior experience includes internships in software development and geographic data management with Magellium and Carto'Cité, respectively. Axel holds an engineering degree in Geographic Information Sciences from Centrale Nantes and a double master's degree in Transport and Geoinformation Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
