Gilbert Prieto

Gilbert Prieto is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, technical support, and electronics. Currently serving in Controls Applications at Illuminate since July 2024, Gilbert previously worked as a Project Manager at A+M and National Grid, where Gilbert focused on the EV Charge Smart NY program. Previous roles include Project Manager at A&M, Technical Support Engineer and Customer Support Engineer at KLA, and Senior Field Applications Specialist at Lutron Electronics. Gilbert’s earlier experience encompasses service in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician (Nuclear), Reactor Operator, and Instructor, along with roles as an Analyst at the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits and an Assistant Trader at Ronin Capital. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Finance (Real Estate) from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and specialized training at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
