Russell Browne

Russell Browne is a seasoned Senior Environmental Specialist at Iluka Resources, with a career spanning over two decades in environmental and occupational hygiene roles. Beginning as a Metallurgical Technician, Russell progressed to Environmental Health & Safety Technician, and later to Occupational Hygiene and Radiation Specialist, focusing on managing occupational exposures and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. In the current role, responsibilities include site environmental management and serving as Radiation Safety Officer, Mine Air Quality Officer, and Noise Officer. Russell holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, complemented by a Certificate 4 in Leadership and Management.
