Andrew Akagawa

Andrew Akagawa is an experienced professional in manufacturing and engineering with a focus on medical and aerospace applications. Currently serving as VP at IMC Intertech, LLC since May 2022, Andrew specializes in micro machining and assembly. As a business owner of Initial Apps LLC since February 2018, Andrew is dedicated to developing software for quoting and invoicing in the manufacturing sector. Previously, Andrew held significant roles at Edwards Lifesciences, where impactful cost-saving innovations were made, as well as at Endologix Inc and Advanced Bionics, leading manufacturing engineering efforts that enhanced product yields and introduced new technologies. Andrew's educational background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Manufacturing and Design from UCLA, alongside management training from the USC Marshall School of Business.
