Tim Knops

Tim Knops is an experienced trader currently working at IMC Trading since February 2021. Previously, Tim held multiple roles at Optiver from September 2013 to January 2020, including equity index volatility trader, fixed income derivatives trader, and trainee derivatives trader. Prior to Optiver, Tim served as a newbuilding department assistant at Stolt-Nielsen Limited from March 2007 to August 2013. Tim's educational background includes a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master of Science in Ship Management, along with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology.
