Elise Temple-Boyer

Mrs. Temple-Boyer holds a PhD in Geography. She is a Social Geographer specialized in environmental issues, lecturer in the University Paris Nanterre at the Research Unit of LAVUE UMR CNRS Lab (National Center of Scientific Research). Recruited in September 2009, she is currently the Co-Director of the master program on Water Management and Local Development (Master GEDELO).

Her research work took her first to Tunisia (2001-2006) to study the water and soil conservation. Since 2007, she had several missions in Mediterranean countries on vulnerability and water management (2006-2009), and in Kenya on water policy and territorialization (2013-2017).

Currently, she conducts research in France on urban river management, water issues, land governance, and landscape planning. She is especially interested in the relationships between actors, territories, and sustainable environmental resources.
