Karine Pozo

Karine Pozo, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of oncology and molecular neuroscience with extensive experience in program and project management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Program Management at Immatics since January 2021, Karine oversees various scientific initiatives. Prior experience includes project management roles at the Cancer Prevention Initiative, where responsibilities encompassed portfolio management and research coordination, as well as roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where Karine led collaborative research projects and acted as a science liaison. Additional roles at Health Wildcatters and University College London involved leadership in healthcare innovation and pioneering research in synaptic transmission, respectively. Karine holds a PhD in Molecular Neurosciences from The School of Pharmacy, University of London, and multiple degrees in related fields, demonstrating a strong educational foundation complemented by a diverse skill set in biological research techniques.
