Yolande Stephens

Yolande Stephens has extensive experience in procurement and management, currently serving as the Category Manager: Contracts at Impala Platinum since February 2010. With expertise in the SAP system and Microsoft Office, Yolande conducts comprehensive research on market dynamics for volatile commodities and ensures compliance with business plans regarding key performance indicators, particularly in Black Empowerment Spend and savings. Previous roles at Impala Platinum include Sourcing Specialist and Senior Buyer: Services, where responsibilities encompassed managing commodity contracts, supporting project procurement, and implementing supply chain improvements. Earlier in the career, Yolande held positions as a Transactional Buyer at both SAPS and MARICO RUSTENBURG and began the professional journey as a Junior Primary Teacher. Yolande holds a BTECH in Purchasing Management from Technikon SA and a teaching degree from Potchefstroom Teachers College.
