Ahmed Abdullah

Ahmed Abdullah, FRM, serves as the Director and Head of Investment Risk Oversight at Impax Asset Management since September 2022, also holding the position of Consultant for Investment & Sustainability Risk. Prior to this, Ahmed was a Consultant for Debt/Fixed Income at Carbon Tracker for a brief period in 2022 and held the role of Vice Chair at Positive Investment Imperial from September 2021 to September 2022, where efforts focused on promoting sustainable investment practices at Imperial College London and collaborating with institutions such as Oxford and Cambridge. As a Climate Tech Fellow with On Deck from June 2021 to May 2022, Ahmed contributed to fostering the growth of climate tech startups. Previous experience includes positions in investment and sustainability risk at Lombard Odier Investment Managers, a variety of roles at State Street involving investment and market risk, and a strategic planning internship with the UN Biodiversity. Ahmed holds a Master's degree in Climate Change, Management & Finance from Imperial College Business School and a BA in Economics from Yale University.
